Ranjit Bawa is a Punjabi singer. He is known for his Punjabi songs in Punjabi Industry. He was born in Wadala Granthian village near Gurdaspur. He has done his graduation from khalsa College, Batala. He has done his post graduation in music from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He rose to fame from his single “Jatt Di akal” which broke many records in Punjab. He made his debut in the 2015 Album, Mitti Da Bawa which got Best World Album Award in the 2015 Brit Asia Awards. He has also received “PTC Best Folk oriented Song Award” in 2013 for his Song, Jatt Di Akal. He is making his film debut in July 15, 2016 playing the title role in Toofan Singh, a semi-biographical film about the 1980s Punjabi activist.
